There was a scent of flowers. Orchids, Korra realized after some contemplation. She rather liked orchids… he had noticed that too – he seemed to be constantly carrying bouquets of them for her these days. Always so over the top, Korra thought with slight amusement. Still, it was nice. Much better than the frilly dresses and precious gems he had tried to force on her.

yaaay Korra’s okay oh thank god /o\ they seem to be gaining more affection for each other, too, bawww. however… I’m wondering if she’s going to remember the sensation of his bloodbending. That would definitely put a strain on the relationship. Hopefully we’ll also get some more details of her fight with the Equalists, too!
